Recipe:

Prep Time: 10-15 min
Serves: 1

Ingredients:
1 lb unsalted butter

Directions

1. Place butter in a pot and heat on medium high until the butter melts and starts to bubble

2. Lower the heat to simmer. Continue cooking on low heat for 30-40 minutes, keep an eye on the ghee because it can burn very easily

3. When you can see the liquid, the water has evaporated and the milk solids settle to the bottom

4. When the ghee reaches a golden colour, strain into a mason jar and let cool. There will be a bit of by-product when you strain the ghee.

Enjoy! and use ghee for cooking and spreading on bread.
