Baked Pakoras (fritters) With Cilantro Chutney
My new creation!! Baked pakoras (fritters) with cilantro chutney.
Metabolic Balance friendly recipe!!
Recipe:
Ingredients:
65 g chickpea flour (besan)
130 g vegetables (grated carrot, finely chopped green onions, grated small potato, finely chopped spinach)
1 tbsp finely chopped cilantro
1 tsp grated ginger
1/2 tsp grated garlic
1 tsp sea salt
1/2 tsp cumin seeds
1/4 tsp red chilli powder
1/4 tsp ground turmeric
1/4 to 1/2 cup water
Directions:
Heat oven to 480 F
1. Mix all dry ingredients in a bowl
2. Add water and mix together, use as much water as you need to get the batter consistency
3. Make batter into small patties
4. Place patties on parchment paper on a cookie sheet
5. Bake for 25 minutes
Serve with mint chutney!! 😋
